Mallers-Joyner Cinemas have been providing Kosciusko County first run movies for more than half a century. The Nick Mallers family has a history of cinematic service that began in 1948 with the opening of the Lake Theater and the Warsaw Drive In, extending to the present with North Pointe's state-of-the-art complex. Those sixty years of professional cinematic experience and passion for serving patrons in Warsaw and surrounding area are evident when you walk through our doors.
The North Pointe theater management team has worked together for 13 years to ensure that our patrons' expectations are met and exceeded. The employees' camaraderie is palpable. You are met with a manager who knows patron's taste. Clients feel comfortable in getting movie suggestions that are just right for them. North Pointe consistently shows 8 of the top 10 nationally ranked shows per week. We work hard to bring shows of particular local appeal to our clients whenever possible. Many of our repeat customers personally own home theaters, but they keep coming in to North Pointe. Why? They tell us that they still crave the excitement of the movie going experience. Here they enjoy the luxury of a state of the art cinema with stadium seating, Dolby Digital Surround Sound and extra large screens for special effects. You feel like you are actually THERE, witnessing the events as they unfold. And then there's the thrill of community experience... of universal emotion, the audience's roaring laughter, the synchronized intake of breath with the shock of recognition. It gets into your blood. North Pointe Cinemas has been offering our community entertainment services beyond your ordinary theater. For nearly a decade, we have been running the summer Family Film Festival, showing G and PG films for free every Wednesday. It's a program for kids of all ages, a cross-generational summer time tradition here. Local sponsors underwrite this phenomenal annual event and we wish to extend gratitude to those who have shared our vision.
